Y10 Ceramic Disc Magnet - 3/16 in. dia x 1/8 in. thick - 0.12lbs Pull
*Measurements have been rounded to the nearest fraction inch - please check the product description for specific measurements.*
These tiny Ceramic (Ferrite) disc magnets are magnetized with their north and south poles on opposite flat faces. They are weakly magnetic which makes them ideal for close proximity sensing applications.

- 5mm diameter x 3mm thick.
- 0.2 in. diameter x 0.12 in. thick.
- Each magnet has a vertical pull of 0.054kg (0.12lbs) when in direct contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness.
- Each magnet's north and south pole are on opposite 5 (0.19 in.)mm diameter faces.
- Resistant to demagnetisation without any extra coating.
- Maintains magnetism in temperatures up to 1176 degrees Fahrenheit.
Also known as ceramic magnets, ferrite magnets offer excellent value for money when pull strength is not the most important factor. These magnets are made from a high-temperature material which can operate in temperatures up to 180 degrees Celsius. Because these magnets are weakly magnetised they are not suitable for weight-bearing applications, but instead are commonly used in sensors and other similar applications.
