This durable polyester rope comes in 10 metre long pieces and has a breaking strength of 420kg (926.1lbs). When tied to a magnet with an eyebolt, it can be used in recovery and retrieval and provides you with an extended reach of up to 10 metres. A popular concept this rope is used for us magnet fishing, especially if you already have a strong magnet with an eyebolt fixing.

We recommend the rope is tied to the magnet with a Tautline Hitch knot so that when the magnet attracts to a ferrous material in the water, the rope doesn't come loose when pulled back. If the rope does come loose, it could cause you to lose the magnet.

For everything you need to know about magnet fishing, our team have produced the ultimate guide that covers the perfect location, potential treasures, recommended knots and our wide range of magnet fishing kits. View and download our Ultimate Guide to Magnet Fishing here.
