  • 125mm diameter x 50mm thick.
  • 4.96 in. diameter x 1.97 in. thick.
  • Each magnet can support 130kg (286.65lbs) pull vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness.
  • Chrome plated steel shell.
  • M14 20mm (0.79 in.) threaded boss for assembly.

Outstanding value for money, these strong ferrite pot magnets are made of a ferrite magnet sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them a strong hold for their size, a reason why they are commonly used by shipbuilders and steel processing plants. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These magnets come with a safe-handling warning; because they are so powerful they can be dangerous if not handled carefully.
