I wanted to recover a small ferrous metal object of 120 grammes dropped in a river, and chose a magnet rated at 16kg pull, as I have no idea what much larger items might be in the river. On receiving the magnet I tested it on another of the same items I have on land and 9 times out of 10 it wouldn’t lift it and if it did, would drop it , so must have been at the extreme limit of what the magnet can lift. So your magnets need a clear statement of what the ratio is from the KG pull number you provide and what weight of an actual item in reality it will lift as it’s 160x less than stated in the case of my 16kg magnet. If you provide this information I missed it in the description.
