  • 40mm diameter x 20mm thick.
  • 1.58 in. diameter x 0.79 in. thick.
  • Magnetic field switched on and off using electric current.
  • Each magnet has a safe working limit (SWL) of up to 25kg (55.13lbs) in a vertical direct position when electricity is applied.
  • Zinc Plated Mild Steel.
  • Supplied with an M5 threaded hole on the reverse for fixing and mounting.
  • Operating voltage 24v DC / 8W, power source not included.

These strong electromagnets, commonly referred to as ‘energise to hold’ magnets, generate a magnetic field when they are connected to a live direct current and have zero magnetic strength when ‘switched off’. Electromagnets are commonly used in door and hatch mechanisms on machinery, in automated assembly lines, for robotics and the lifting and handling of ferrous materials. Each magnet is supplied with approximately 200mm (7.87 in.) (7.87 in.) of wire for connecting to a direct current (DC) power source.
