Creating your own refrigerator magnets is a popular activity to do with your friends, family and children. By simply purchasing a handful of ferrite magnets or self-adhesive Neodymium magnets you can begin turning almost anything into a funky refrigerator magnet.
Jenny from Cheshire wrote to us to tell us how she used household materials to create a fun craft activity. Jenny created this activity for a family club workshop aimed at 4 to 11 year olds and their parents. Jenny used coloured plastic jar lids, PVA glue and lots of cheap beads and sequins. Once the designs were complete, each decorative design had a flexible ferrite magnet applied to its back. This turned every design into a great home refrigerator magnet.
